About our events
Our events provide a professional forum for learning, development and networking. Our professional development programme and practical resources can help you, whatever stage your career is at and wherever in government you work. We also hold occasional social events.
Workshops
Each year we will aim to provide four professional development workshops - one of these will be held with the annual Network conference.
So far this year we've looked at using brand to drive strategy, and on influencing skills. Ideas for future workshops include communications planning, change management and managing stakeholder relationships.
Seminars
We will hold between six and eight seminars each year where a speaker will share knowledge or a case study. Already we've looked at the use of social media in the public sector, and on web writing skills. Future topics include crisis and issues management, management/leadership for senior practitioners, media relations, social media and brand/reputation management.
Value for money
Most of our events are available to members and non-members. Many are free to members and all are affordable. Your ideas for future events are welcome. For event enquiries and to suggest an event topic please contact our Network Administrator.
