I think the focus on elected officials' blogs may have something to do with the US system (though I'm vague on exactly what, possibly that having more elected positions creates a need for political self-promotion). I've found though that weighty reports can help persuade reluctant managers as to the worth of something new and seemingly dangerous . . .</description>
