&lt;p&gt;There has been a flurry of this sort of stuff of late: in Feb there was an &lt;a href="http://politics.guardian.co.uk/egovernment/story/0,,2010094,00.html" title="Guardian Unlimited: Ministers wake to potential of people power on the net" rel="nofollow"&gt;announcement from the Cabinet Office&lt;/a&gt; (UK) and just this last week &lt;a href="http://www.theahttp://www.theage.com.au/news/biztech/web-tools-could-shape-policy-minister/2007/04/16/1176696756831.htmlge.com.au/news/biztech/web-tools-could-shape-policy-minister/2007/04/16/1176696756831.html" title="The Age: Web tools could shape policy: Minister" rel="nofollow"&gt;the Australians weighed in&lt;/a&gt; as well.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The wheels are in motion, it remains to be seen where we are going...&lt;/p&gt;</description>
